Starlight in Motion is an independent astronomy outreach program dedicated to making space accessible, hands-on, and unforgettable. What started as a small summer initiative has grown into a mission: to give young people real experiences with the sky, not just pictures of it. 

🔭 What This Looks Like

Through school visits, camps, and community events, Starlight in Motion delivers:

• Live telescope viewing (day & night)
• Safe solar observing experiences
• Interactive astronomy lessons
• Conversations about light pollution & dark sky preservation

Using smart telescopes and live displays, participants can explore the Sun, Moon, stars, galaxies, and nebulae with no prior experience needed.

✨ Real Impact

During its first summer, the program reached hundreds of campers through weekly sessions with many seeing the Sun through a telescope for the very first time.

The reactions say everything: wide eyes, endless questions, and a curiosity that doesn’t stop when the session ends.

That’s what this is about.
