Featured Object: Andromeda Galaxy (M31)

The Andromeda Galaxy is the largest galaxy visible from Earth and the most distant object most people can see with their naked eye. Located approximately 2.5 million light years away, the light captured in this image began its journey long before humans existed.

Using my telescope and astrophotography equipment, I spent hours collecting and processing light from this neighboring galaxy to reveal its delicate spiral arms, glowing star clouds, and bright galactic core. Containing an estimated one trillion stars, Andromeda offers a glimpse into the immense scale of our universe.

As one of my personal favorite deep-sky objects, Andromeda was chosen as the July edition to celebrate wonder, perspective, and our connection to the cosmos. When you hold this print, you're holding light that has traveled across space for 2.5 million years to reach Earth.
